I'M IN DOUBT BETWEEN A COTTON AND WOOL BLANKET, WHICH ONE IS BEST?

Both materials are 100% natural, of pure quality and sustainable. A wool blanket is slightly warmer and heavier, while the cotton blanket is a bit lighter. It is still a tightly woven blanket, so the cotton blanket is also of sturdy quality.

Wool is self-cleaning and moisture-regulating, repels dust mites and is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. Wool is cool in summer and warm in winter, in Morocco the blankets are used for all seasons. Cotton is naturally cooler.

The colors of woolen blankets are often more intense, where the cotton blankets are often softer and more matte.

CAN I WASH THE BLANKETS?

Woolen blankets can be washed by hand or on a wool wash program, preferably on a cold program with a special wool detergent. The cotton blankets are washable on a gentle cycle.

A tip from us: hang out your blanket regularly so that the fresh air can pass through the fibres.

DO THE PLAIDS ITCH?

No, the cotton blankets not at all, the woolen ones can itch a bit if you are sensitive to this and when you use the blanket directly on your bare skin. Actually, we never get “complaints” about itchy blankets.

ARE THE BLANKETS VINTAGE OR NEW?

That differs per type! And this is always indicated with the product. We design the cotton and wool (pom-pom) blankets ourselves and then have them weaved by our team in Morocco. These blankets are therefore always new.

Of course we also regularly find unique, vintage one of a kind blankets, this is also clearly stated in the description. Hammam towels are always new and woven especially for The Souks.

DO YOU ONLY HAVE BLANKETS WITH POMPOMS?

Since our AW2021 collection, we also have blankets without pompoms in our range!

In size M on the long sides, in size L and XL on the short sides.
